I found a vst called Midi Mapper X. Looks like it was intended for FL Studio, but it installs ok.
Theres no instructions, so im trying to grasp what it does.
i think it allows you specify per key a sysex for note on, one for note off, and a cc controller that is velocity sensitive. Thats what im hoping for anyway.
Could be a cool way to reuse old hardware.
Anyone tried this?

I used it for a while to map various keyswitches and CC values for articulation control. I recently picked up VEPro, so I'm starting all over again - I think I may end up using MIDI Mapper still, we'll see. It is very cool!

Thanks for the reassurance that it will work. This will take some experimentation to understand. But the possibolities for it to change the way hardware behaves from a keyboard are mind boggling.
Its nice to see a developer coming up with something really new.
