Don't knock your opinion on 'non-metal'. You once listened to one of my tracks and said "it reminds me of Toronto." that was a huge compliment, and was very encouraging.

It really did though. What happened with that one? Is it in play?

I used to both post and listen/comment on a regular basis, but I grew tired of the fragile egos, constant tactical bumping and narcissism , so now I don't.

Once it evolved into the 'mastering' forum instead of the 'songs' forum, I stopped going there.
I can write songs, good or bad, but I can't master the mastering.

I just go to listen and give my amateur 1.5 cents worth (the opposite end of the mastering spectrum....tell em what us mere mortals hear

).

I keep it simples, be honest, and for mastering I use Ozone 7's presets. :))

Most of the time I'm on the forum, I'm using my laptop. Doesn't do any songs justice, listening on that.
I seldom upload songs, as I have problems finishing projects

Must get better at it
