I was always wondering. I have 2 monitors set up. I use 2nd monitor for Console view and effects or software synths windows. But there is no way to extend audio tracks to another monitor. Why not? If it is "extended" view and I can drag windows from one monitor to another, I should be able to extend the tracks and make loooong track view. It probably would work if window minimized to smaller window and stretched, but that is not the same. Thoughts? Thank you.  

I do the second option u mentioned. I I really don't notice the difference as long as u stretch it to the max dimensions.

Exactly. You only need to stretch it out wide once and it will remember its size thereafter. Hit the maximize button to put it back onto a single screen.
