How can I load 2 different wav-files (samples) to the hihat slot to note 22 and 26?
Although I select in the menu note 22 or note 26 before loading the sample, session drummer loads the sample to both notes.

you need to load an SFZ file, not a single Flac or Wav file.
The SFZ is the file that links 2 separate files. it also has the info which clasps the open hat when the closed hat is hit.

you can either write your own SFZ file or load one from the SD3 directory.

Using samples SD3 supports only one sample per pad. Sfz files allow multiple samples per pad.

OK, thank you.
I must load sfz-files instead of singles wav-files.

For a simple sfz file to use as a model for one open, one pedal and one closed hihat look at cakewalk-dlots1kit-hihat.sfz in where ever the SD3 content is stored. The default is "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Session Drummer 3\Contents\Kits\3 - Hats"

Thank you, I will make my own sfz-files.

You can load many samples, so for example different samples at different velocities.

Or a number of samples in a round-robin so that the hit does not sound identical every time.

You can add filters - in fact, most things sfz.exe can do.

In fact, the only things in the sfz spec which do NOT work are:

pitch eg
count (crashes Sonar)
lo bend/hi bend
sw lokey, sw hikey, sw last
fileg_xxx
rt_decay
filter cutoff_ccN
effect 1 and 2 (there's no built-in effect)
eq1_freq ccN and eq1_gain ccN
