Anybody out there aware of  an in-person type training course  that exists in or around the Daytona Beach, Edgewater Florida area? The closer to Edgewater the better!

In most cases they are not located conveniently nearby, they are expensive, and usually only cover leading DAW software like Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, or Ableton. 
 
Although if you have experience with any of those, you should be able to read the Sonar manual and/or Scott's book and be up and running.  

I'm just in the process of making a bunch of video tutorials that I needed to help a few family members and my band mate. Instead of sitting with them all day in turn I thought this will work just as well So far I've done 5 on the very very basics as these people have never used a computer for music ever. But as I go along I'll cover more advanced material. And ya it by no means a professional video, Its free. There is enough free stuff on youtube that I wouldn't run out and spend money until you really find you've hit a brick wall.
