Do anyone here know if  Cakewalk plan to release  V-Studio 20 Driver for windows 10  ???
If so, will the users get any notification ???

What is sad to me, is that Sonar Platinum on Windows 10 is great but I can't get a straight answer as to what DAW interface will work.  Since Boss no longer supports the V-studio 20, 100 or 700 and I have the V-Studio 20 (which I love) I need to know for sure what interface on the market today will be supported in Sonar Platinum on Windows 10.  How hard is it to keep drivers up to date?  I would buy a new interface (if I knew which one will work with Sonar Platinum on Windows 10) but who is to say that Cakewalk Sonar Platinum 2, 3 and so on will work with it.  Cakewalk should pick a few interfaces and stick with them.  I thought that BOSS, Roland and Cakewalk the V-Studio Series would be such an animal.  Sadly NO.

Please, would V-studio 20 drivers be updated to Windows10?

Sadly, Roland doesn't care about the V-Studio anymore or it's users. I've tried multiple times to get them to message Roland Japan about this and have gotten no results. They've lost a lot of money from me now as I was planning on buying both an $8000 V-Drum kit and multiple synths from them. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

If you follow the instructions in this post here and edit your VS 20 Win 8.x installer you can get your VS 20 to work in Win 10.
 
I know because I have got this working for a friend running a VS 20 under win 10.

Simply go in the 'Files' folder and open the file RDIF1106. INF (32 and 64bits) in a Notepad, replace all 6.2 value by 10, save and install; the drivers are installed and the equipment is recognized with perfect operation on Windows 10.

I have installed the new drivers and Guitar Tracks 4.1 upgrade, all downloaded from Roland in the last month, set up on a few Windows laptops with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 8.1. Cakewalk, BOSS, Roland have all given me excellent service and feedback recently, with emails regarding the VS-20 specifically being returned in less than 4 hours. Also, SONAR Home Studio works with my VS-20, proof positive these VS-20 unit's are worthy in 2017. Just saying, if you really want to use your VS-20, just get a really nice n loaded with W 8.1 and get to enjoying all the features in your V-Studio. Mine sure works better now than it did when I bought it!

Where does a user go to obtain drivers for the VS? I'm looking to install the driver for the VS 100.
