The transport control shows information about BPM, tempo, etc. that you can change directly or indirectly by simply clicking the respective values.  Except Sample Rate / Bit Depth.
 
It would be nice if the preferences page would open at the appropriate tab when clicking Sample Rate / Bit Depth int he Transport Control.
