Hi guys, I'm finding my new PC is getting more spikey in the RAM dept every day. I think I need to do a serious Windows 10 tweak.. what sites or articles can you guys recommend?
Thanks in advance.

Here's a couple of links our good buddy Abacab suggested:

Even then Windows 10 can still be chatty by default.  Windows store app updates, Cortana, remote telemetry, Windows updates, bah! [link=https://www.howtogeek.com/356642/how-to-fix-all-windows-10%E2%80%99s-annoyances/]https://www.howtogeek.com...%E2%80%99s-annoyances/[/link]

Here is a good guide from NI covering general Windows tuning tips for audio processing.  Nothing here specific about other apps, but this should give a good baseline.

The only "tweak" if you want to call it that I have on my DAW desktop is the Power Plan set to High Performance.
I still disable Internet when I record or mix but nothing else.  Resplendence Latency Mon shows system is clean.

However, I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop for off-site (on site) recordings.  I tried to clean it up for recording but was unsuccessful.  The laptop came with an M.2 SSD and space for a laptop hard drive or full size SSD.  I had a 256GB SSD so I installed that.  I installed a "clean" Win 10, needed drivers and recording software - nothing else.  It is set up as a Dual boot.  If I want to use it as a regular PC I boot to the original Dell image, if I want to use it for recording I boot to the 2nd Win 10 image.

I use ParkControl Pro from Bitsum ($4.95 for one license with lifetime updates; $2.95 for one year of updates; free version available). Rather than describe it here, check out the product page.

Sounds like ParkControl is not needed for Skylake and subsequent processors, right?
