What is it like Larry I have looked at it for sometime and considered it as a possible addition to the synth arsenal? 

I like it a lot, but a caveat, the suitcase version of the EMS synthi A was the first synth I ever used back in the 70s.

They have increased the versatility by emulating a double version, both signals and CVs can be routed between the two "sides" so its a whole lot more than two synths layered.

Other added features over the originals include staying in tune and the addition of a level control on each of the virtual patch pins.

While its a twiddlers paradise it also has some very nice presets v1.5 greatly improved preset management.

Finally it can be used as a versatile effects unit.

I don't use it Wookie, so really can't comment.
