when I click on add effect on the track view in MC5 it brings up an Audio menu and a soft synth menu.  I'm assuming that since I entered my notes in the TTS1 piano, that I'm supposed to use the soft synth but I cannot figure out how to use it.  I need some reverb.

Hi Sirena.
The TTS-1 mixer has reverb available for each track:

Ignore the red box. The reverb control is the second row from the top.

Yes. TTS has reverb built in.

There are 2 kinds of tracks in MC..... MIDI, and AUDIO.  You can have a midi piano track, a midi drum, and a midi bass all going into TTS-1* (*first instance of TTS)

If you want the reverb on the entire trio, you can click on the FX bin in the TTS-1 audio track and insert an AUDIO FX reverb into it to effect the entire output of TTS-1. This would allow what some call blending of the instruments a bit with reverb. It may not be desirable though.....so......

If you just want reverb on the piano, then do as Greg pointed out, select the reverb amount form the TTS-1 GUI screen.

Thank you guys.  it worked.
I must say that I've seen that panel a number of times, but it didn't occur to me to look at it and read some of the words.  I do like the old version, MC3, where the presets were available from a window. MC it's  looking too techie for me.

I know, some people like the feel that they are in the same room with their equipment, but I never was in the recording studio and equipment makes me feel intimidated.  again, I have to throw my learning curve way high to catch up.  (I don't know if it's good or bad.)

anyway, it worked this time.  thanks, again.
