hi guys and girls.

I picked up MC6T week or so ago and found it very straight forward to use.
However  i have a stack of sample CD's with 1000s of single shot drum kits and synths ect ect , is there a way to get them to work/play in step sequencer or piano roll so i can make my own beats/loops ?

thanks you

The simplest was to use loops and one shots is to drop them directly into audio tracks. If you want to "play/sequence" the loops and one shots with MIDI you will need a sampler. TX16Wx is a free sampler that will work with MC6T.

If the samples on the CD's are waves, you should be able to easily drag and drop right into the projects..... into the tracks.

cheers hacker..
Prob i was having was sequencing the countless single hit drums, been using the TX16 and triggering sounds via the piano roll, its working perfectly. only downside im using the free version and i have to use multiple instances of the TX to add effects to certain sounds, but all in all its proved to be a little gem and exactly what i was looking for.

thanks alot for the help guys...

The free version can drive 4 stereo outputs from one instance if you wish. Check the all stereo ouputs in the "Insert Synth Options" dialog when adding the synth to a project and map the sample groups to the appropriate channel.
