Well its be a bust so far. Soundforge sits on 'Initializing audio engine' forever. Looked it up on the web and it seems to not like an endless string of other programs/vsts. The 'solution' seems to be to reformat your hard drive so there is nothing on it that Sound Forge doesn't like!
 
All I had to do was delete FL Studio. i don't use it anyway so small loss. Might be a bigger deal for FL Studio users though...
 
Now the problem is it won't allow drag and drop samples...
