Hey!
 
I know this site will be defunct soon, but is there a better explanation as to what some of the emodicons are?  I know the first is a smile, the second is a laugh, and the fourth  I suspect is a wink, but I'm not too clear on the rest.   Sometimes I want to use a sad one and I think I'm using the right one, but I'm not sure.  I don't want to piss someone off by using the wrong one like say, a laughing one when I mean for sympathy.

I have been howling for a facepalm emoticon for years.

The frown is semicolon open paren, I believe.  :(
 
But the Emoticons you can select from here seem limited. And when this forum goes away so will this selection of Emoticons.

Thanks.  The problem here (on this site) is they're too small to properly see.
