Hi Guys. Is there a way to change this annoying clip behavior? It driving me nuts. I'm spending 3 times more time for editing in new sonar than in X1.

I can't post here images to show what exactly this situation. But, when two clips are overlaping, and I try to move the second one ( further on a timeline), the first one is cut by the second one. I'm used to situation when if two clips are overlaping they play simultaneously.

Thank You for Your time.

Thank You Guys. It was that. Is it possible to keep it this way when lanes are enabled?

That would be cool, but this behavior change when I enable lanes. Maybe somebody has a time to do a quick test on his machine?

'Blend' mode should work the same whether lanes are open or closed. If lanes are closed, and you create an overlap in Blend mode, a new lane should automatically be created to hold the moved clip. If lanes are open, and you create a same-lane overlap, you won't see the new lane until you toggle lanes closed/open. There are circumstances in which the overlapping clip will incorrectly remain in the same lane, but the clips will still play back as sound-on-sound.
