Hi, I'm using a Windows 10 PC (Compaq 8200 Elite) with a single 1TB hard drive and 32GB of RAM with Platinum. Should I add a second HD? What would the advantages be? If so, what audio files should be moved there? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi George,

A second hard drive can improve performance for recording and playing audio, but you don't necessarily need it if you're not having any problems. Once you start creating very large projects, then you may experience glitches in recording/playback and it'll be time for a second drive.

In that case, you'll want to move all your project folders over to that drive and make sure SONAR knows where to find projects. You can do that in Preferences. Check out this page in the SONAR docs...
