Ony one track is selected but Piano Roll keeps showing multiple? Is this a bug in the latest version?

If you're referring to the new Track Pane in the PRV, this is part of the new update.

This method allows access to solo/mute to all tracks while in the PRV. Very handy

Currently use standard select methods (ctrl-click to toggle desired tracks to be included in the view (no more pick tracks option as previous).

With that reasoning, why not put more things in the PRV too?    You could already solo/mute any RELEVANT tracks in the PRV.   Now you have a minimum of three 'very handy' places to solo/mute all tracks: track view, console view, and the new PRV.   Is that really so valuable as to make the PRV's special nature dulled?

The difficulty of having all tracks all the time is scrolling.   This image is from an older version, since I've rolled back from the latest.     Imagine if I had to scroll up and down to select one from a group of related tracks visible in each PRV?     The project shown uses 30-some tracks; many are in the 100 track range.

you don't need to show all tracks or scroll through 100 tracks, use the filter button to only show the tracks you want.
3 different place to mute/solo, true... but who wants to keep closing the PRV to mute/solo audio tracks in the track view or Console view ?

How do you open Piano Roll? When I go to View/Piano Roll, nothing happens. I don't have those areas (at a top or bottom of the screen) visible where things supposed to appear. Would be nice if it just opened in new window as it used to be. Thank you.

It sounds like maybe you have a docked PRV open, but the dock is nearly minimized. Try hitting Shift+D to maximize it.

As for the default behavior when opening the PRV, if the project is new and built from an included project template, the PRV will open docked. If you undock it and close it, the next time you open it, it will open undocked. You can save a template with closed, undocked PRV, and new projects created from that template will open an undocked PRV by default.

I got it opened, thanks. My Piano Roll shows one track at a time. I would ask how do you get more than one track in to the window.

See my post above... ok

Simply in the Track Pane, ctrl-click each track you wish included in the view
