I have been having trouble opening Sonar Platinum. I start to open it and immediately get multiple "out of memory" messages and then the program terminates. Started happening several weeks ago, not sure what causes this. Help me please, I want my Soar Platinum back. :(

Please post your full PC specifications. You could have 1Gb of RAM for all we know...
Does this happen without you opening a project?

Things I would immediately do, update and run your virus scanner, check to see what else is running (startup programs and processes in task manager). Run chkdsk /R from an administrative command prompt and reboot.

If that does not work you could try rolling Sonar back to previous version and then reinstalling.
Finally please check the Windows event viewer for error messages and paste here.

Cheers...

Here's something else that may or may not help:

I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, Intel Core i5-4200 CPU @ 2.50, 8 GB Ram. Prosonus AudioBox USB or Guitar port on occasion.

I have thought about doing an uninstall/reinstall but not sure I want to reinstall such a large file again but will try that if need to. Am running my virus software tonight. Will also check Task Manage to see if anything is running in the background

When I have issues that make me ask "what the heck is my pc doing?!?", I have found Process Explorer to be really helpful.

Does this happen if just launching SONAR (I.e., not opening a project but just the program)?

In addition to the issues in the link posted by Dr. A. there has been an issue with importing MP3 files that are tagged, even without DRM management giving that message on previous Sonar versions.

Is it specific to one project?

Does it happen when you just open SONAR without a project loaded?

If it's due to a corrupt wav file, the answers will be "yes" and "no".

If it's due to a corrupt plugin DLL, you should be able to open a blank project OK.

Well been too busy to work on trying to fix this lately but this happens when I start Sonar, no projects template can even load. I tried a few things that were suggested from Cakewalk support but to no avail. I even cleaned out my vst folder with the hopes of that being the cause but still no go. I reinstalled and that did not work. Hoped to get a fix when updating Windows 10 but nothing seems to fix it. I have been too busy lately at my job so this is not an emergency to finish a project I just want to resolve this for when I can put the time into a future project. Fortunately I still have Sonar X3 Producer still installed so if I need to work on something I can. Will continue paying my monthly installment hoping that a future update will resolve the issue.
