Went to Studio One 4 myself. Love it. The arranger and the chord tracks are awesome. Have not tried Bandlab yet though.  I have Sonar Platinum still installed but haven't used it since the I got Studio One. To each his own.

CbB improves considerably on Sonar. I feel Studio One and CbB are like having an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar. Superficially, they seem the same, but they fulfill different functions, and are best in different contexts.

Personally, I love Reason 10 and I've been a Reason user as long as I have used SONAR.  For a home tinkerer such as myself, it is an excellent value IMHO.  When I want to record myself on acoustic guitar, I reach for SONAR but when I want to record synths, acoustic and electric guitar, it's Reason for me.

Why not ReWire Reason into Sonar (or better yet...CbB)? Then you can have the best of what both can do. Back when Sonar was anemic in the virtual instruments department, rewiring Reason was like adding a super-cool instrument backline.

More and more, I'm becoming convinced that the route to musical nirvana is being fluent in more than one program. But I'm certainly thrilled that my fluency in Sonar wasn't for nothing, thanks to being resurrected as CbB.
