Just updated to 2017.03 and noticed this happening when recording midi drum tracks. I don't recall seeing this before, so not certain if it's update related of some focus/zoom setting I may have changed by mistake.
 
I have my drum map opened in PRV and like most drum maps, the kick and snare are mapped to lower notes and listed towards the bottom of the view. So, of course, double clicking on a midi clip in the track view opens PRV with the map "centered" so I need to scroll down to see the kick and snare hits already recorded.
No problem there, except when I hit "record", play notes on my controller, then hit stop, the PRV resets back to "centered". I have to scroll back down after every recording to see the bottom notes again.
I've checked a few things in order to fix this, but no go.
