Hi guys,

I set up my multi tracking with Addictive Drums 2, and when I go and click on my step sequencer option, nothing appears, but before, when I would open it up it would appear on the bottom and I would just drag the window up and work on it.  How do I get it to re appear again? I am on Sonar Platinum. Please help, its really annoying, thanks.

Previously I closed out the step sequencer window, and when I tried opening it back up, it won't display.

its possible you might have accidentally turned the SS clip in to a midi clip.
-Right-click the selected clip and choose Convert MIDI Clip(s) to Step Sequencer from the Clips pane context menu (hover the mouse over the bottom of the context menu in order to show any “hidden” commands).

Look for a little floating window at the bottom left, You might have undocked it and minimized. Or if you have 2 monitors make sure it's not over there. It could even be hidding behind something else. Windows do that. DId you press ALT +4?  or use the view menu?

I just have one monitor going, i deleted the previous drum track i made and decided to multi track the drums on the same template so would i have to make a new project?

At the bottom left it says "Display" and it has a down arrow next to it, is that the floating window?

If I have the multidock on the second monitor, and I minimize the mutidock then it vanishes - no minimized icon in the bottom left, nothing. Minimizing Sonar completely and then restoring it brings the multidock back as a minimized icon that can then be restored.

Different problem to yours, but similar. Perhaps the same solution will work?

I might just delete everything and start over on a brand new file, maybe it will go back to normal

You didn't try my suggestion ? Makes no difference to me to be honest  I do hope you get it worked out though.
By right clicking on the clip you can open the SS up again and drag it to the dock.
