MY mate SteveStrummerUK says it best.

Maybe we should only say here what we would if we were face to face with the intended individual.

I wonder:
Would a "SONAR for life is money grab" poster say that to ANY Cakewalk employee to their face?
Would a "who makes this software, chimps?" poster say that to ANY Cakewalk employee to their face?

I think I'm starting to understand why I spend so much time alone.  Thanks Bapu

Here's some positivity to cheer up all the "gloom & doomers".....brought to you by your local Sonar Forum Monkeys:

"The world is a reflection of you" (and your attitude), and that can certainly be applied to statements/posts.
Michael
ps Thanks Mesh    That's the perfect track for this thread. Nice all the way around.

I have found the secret in life to being happy is to laugh. laugh a lot.
laugh at yourself, laugh at each other. its healthy. its also the reason I have been married for over 15 years.

Congrats Chuck.  My honeymoon just entered it's 26th year last month.

its all about compromise with my marriage
Congrats to you as well.

Oh, she's always right?

your asking me ?
compromise isn't about who is right or who is wrong. I could care less.
that's not really important to me. being happy is all I care about.
and I am every single day.

OK , now may be a good time for me to break Radio Silence ....

I have considered the consequences of doing so and there may only be two possible primary out comes for going here ...

1,  People may actually understand where I was coming from in my previous post ( the desired outcome )
or ,
2 , People may think I'm actually running a Highly Well Oiled Campaign to become The Official 2016 Cakewalk Pariah

This may come as a big surprise to a lot of people ...

In many areas of communication and everyday normal life there is no such thing as asking a question with out the question being asked bringing up an equally weighted statement ...

When a person asks a question or puts a question in a thread topic they may not even be aware that they are also making a statement ..Why not "Think about it " for a moment and let it sink in ...it may become clear if it's a new concept to you .

Intelligent people with a little bit of wisdom , tact and a small degree of diplomacy perfectly understand this aspect of the unintended "double edged sword elemental attribute  " of asking any type question in the first place ...

Is there a  better way of asking or wording a question with out passing on the unintended possible explosiveness of the potential mirroring Yin and Yang opposite interpretations and statements a poorly worded question can bring up?   Is this even possible ?

Exhibit A

Can we make this forum more positive ?

Exhibit B

What can we do here as individual forum members do to make this forum a lot more positive ?

You can decide what conveys an intent that is solution based  ,
IMHO ..one of these examples opens a door ..the other ?????
BTW , this is not a judgment , this is a discernment ..there is a diff you know .

Having said that , It is not my aim to micro manage the style in which people communicate and pose questions on this forum ...

As far as freedom of speech goes , I stand with what I have said in my earlier post in this thread ...

I happen to think that I may have failed at clarifying that my level of intensity and passion was not directed at attacking a person or the way they choose to communicate ... for that I will take responsibility

My level of intensity and passion was focused primarily about setting a boundary about where I stand regarding
This whole new movement that seems to have taken hold in every level of society where people have taken it upon themselves to constantly police and lower the signal to noise ratio as to what constitutes "The New Frontier in P.C."
Although I may happen to be typing this on a P C that contains an OS that affords me very little autonomy and even less privacy ...I think we all know what I mean when I say P.C..
bringing this back on to topic

For those that don't like what I have to say ...IF You want it gone , you can have a mod remove it....

I can promise any one who may happen to have any doubts about a few things ...
1, I have never said a word on this forum or anyplace else for that matter that I would not say to somebody's face in person ...
2 , I have always chosen my words very carefully because I have lived long enough to have eaten them on many occasions ...
3 , I am a very outspoken person with integrity and it threatens people ...

anyway , that about covers it for now .

I WUB you Too

Kenny
