Good point.  Though even in the Cakewalk project file states are saved in the CWP  the CWM's are also another externalization of settings.  I'm still getting used to using the advanced portion of the mix recall features as much of what I do doesn't really serve a purpose for recalling mix setups.  I definitely want to spend more time with it.
