I did not, but I had a Rode X/Y mic which is said to have the same capsules.
I used it for drum overheads. It was not overly bright, kinda smooth sounding.

Their customer service is outstanding.

I had (have) an NT1A that got soaked in a flood and quit working. I contacted them, TOLD THEM IT GOT SUBMERGED, and asked them if it could be fixed and for how much. They told me to send it in and they sent me a new one.

Bought an NT1A a couple years ago and never looked back.  Future investments will be Rode products.

I've got a 19 yrs old NT1-A, that's in as good shape now as when it was new.
I've also used lots of Røde mics for live purposes. Drums, vocs, cabs etc.
Built to last, it seems
All the best.
