Why ? How do you think things will go when faceless finance capital get its way ?
I hope he stays.

1. Faceless finance capital mostly always gets its way.

2. It doesn't seem like he's done an absolutely spiffing job of steering the company, in all honesty, regardless of what a nice guy he may or may not be.

3. If I were him I'd be looking for any escape route at all, and would take any offer this 'anonymous group' cared to make. But that's just me.

4. I don't actually care at this point whether he stays or goes, or whether the company survives or not. I think it's a shame for the employees, and of course it's the end of an era for an iconic brand that occupies a place in music history, but so it goes. They're not the first to succumb to the changing landscape of the industry, nor will they be the last...

Please read up about the man. He has an absolutely awful track record and reputation and is the main reason the company is in the state it is in. He is the face of faceless capitalism (see what I did there) , and in my opinion is ultimately responsible for the closing down Cakewalk.

He is also the man that stated the sign of being the best guitar company "is not the quality of guitars they produce but the amount of money the company makes".

Looks like this thread will succumb to the (ever so) changing landscape of the CH.

Looks like you know more than me. Just sounded a bit harsh to wish someone pushed out of their company.
Anyway, he's history as far as Cakewalk is concerned. Let's hope Meng and BandLab can do a better job.

Word is that he's using his severance package to buy bandlab.
