Hello Everyone,
I'm going through loading some old songs that I wrote using an older version of cakewalk.  Not sure what version I wrote this song in.  I have been using cakewalk since the DOS days.  But when I load the song I don't hear the audio metronome.  I can route it to the midi out and it works.  But when I try to route using audio metronome I don't hear anything.  I tried different outputs, I created my own bus and named it Metronome still nothing.  But when I load a song created with X3 or Platinum all works Ok.  I'm sure it has something to do with this file was created with an older version.  Any suggestions.....

Thanks,
Keith

first (I know simple) make sure it is engaged to be "On" while playback / recording is pressed.
then just double check your routing as you've already done.

I don't remember hearing about any bugs like this, but it is a possibility.

I had this issue wiuth a couple of older porojects. Try toggling the global fx bypass button in tha mix module  on/off.
