The only issue I consistently hit is that an OS update convinces XLN that my AD2 plug-in doesn't belong to me so I have to re-authorize it on my PC with each update.

How do you reauthorize AD2? Through the online installer?

Yep! Just run the online installer and it will set you back up.

Given what happened back In January with some of the Cakewalk plug-ins and the Win 10 update that came out, my plan of action is to defer the 4/11 update, give the bakers time to see if there are any issues, then do the Sonar update at the end of April before updating Windows. Odds are both parties will have things sorted out by then if there are any problems.

emwhy, as I noted I have the Creators Update now.  I have the Windows Insider program advanced versions (currently 15063) which is the Creators Update.  I have Sonar Platinum installed there.  I haven't tested every available option in Sonar, but what I have done all works the same as it does in the Production version of Win 10. All my recording hardware works the same and didn't have to reinstall anything.  Even my old Frontier Tranzport that only has Vista drivers works OK (I did have to initially install it in a compatibility mode but no reinstalls after updates).  I've had to reauthorize some add ons, but that is with any major Windows update.

There are extra apps installed for 3D, Games, etc but unless you use one of those they just sit there, like any other program that is not opened.

Yay for more bloatware.
