So i used to have the Pro version of SONAR but then upgaded to Platinum 64 bit version . I opened a oldish project earler and "Boost11" is missing .
Nowhere to be seen , Is it a Pro 32 bit version of plugin only  ? And can i get it for 64bit Platinum  ?
Also if this is the case , then what other stuff will i be missing for using a 64bit version of SONAR

Just noticed all 32 bit VST plugins are not even installed . Loads missing ,. There must be a way for me to install and use them  ? ?

There's a Plugin menu layout called platinum only.
Boost 11 won't show in that menu so use the default layout

I get a error , Something like "Boost11 is not installed" . It does not get installed with the 64 bit version  ? ?

There are loads of plugins missing .

I guess i need to install the 32bit version to sit alongside this 64 bit version  ? ?

Boost 11 is 64 bit, it was installed on my Platinum version. In fact it's been reinstalled with every update right up to Dorchester.

You won't get any more plugins by installing the 32 bit version of Sonar.

Go to your CCC download folder ( click the gear icon at top right in CCC to show where it is) and check the latest installer for Sonar that you have. Double click it and select Advanced installation. It will eventually show a screen where you can select various items to install make sure to check Boost 11. I don't know why but it's been included in the main installer instead of one of the plugins installers.

That worked and i have Boost 11 back but now i am missing a VST plugin haha , Usually after the scan i t says 69 VST plugins found ,but now it says 68 ...
Any idea why this would be , I haven`t changed anything except reinstall Platinum .
Is there a list of VST plugins i should have so i can check against that  ?

Thanks
Dan

If you want the list for platinum it's here.

http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR/Versions

You can see which are included in each version.

I don't know what else you have installed besides Sonar but the default for Platinum is 57 plugins + 9 for Pro Channel + 21 VSTis (instruments).

I have a copy of "Music Creator" on the system from when it was real cheap on Steam, So it will be that . As long as i have all the Platinum VST`s i am not concerned .

Thanks again , Very helpful

Don't forget to do a reset and re-scan after a major update.
