Hi,
I have had Sonar for a long time and am trying to find out how I can make risers for synth (automating pitch bend). Does anyone know how I can do this?

Depends on what synth you're using.  I've found certain success with Z3TA+2 using the portamento options in the performance section.  Every synth may have a different way of doing it though.  If you're using Serum you can use an envelope and put it on the pitch for each osc.

I know you would like to do this with what is available in Sonar.  However, this is on special at the moment.  Should do what you need.

I got the Riser last year with the AIR instrument bundle.  That is what it does.  Instant gratification!

Or you could just experiment like Trance mentioned.

One way is to use rapture or whatever synth you have and set the pitch bend value for the synth patch to max value 24. Record a long note over how long you want your riser to be say 4 bars, then automate a pitch wheel bend. You can draw it in piano roll view. Hold shift down while you draw to get a straight line...
