It pops up a dialog box saying there are no audio devices for the current driver model.  When I click on OK the box closes and so does MC6T.  I've un-installed and reinstalled, rebooted, etc.  I tried the compatibility mode it selected XP with SP3 and then told me it was not compatible.  I've checked my logs and didn't find anything.

Any ideas of what to do next?

Thank you.

That's odd. Try holding the shift key down as you double click on the MC icon to open the program. This will force a reinitialization of MCs settings.

Did the wave profiler ever run?  That is the process it uses to find the attached/connected audio and midi devices.

Staring with the shift key down gets me the Music Creator will now personalize your... box, then the Music Creator opening screen comes up and it just goes away.  I've also tried to run it in the Administrator mode with the same result.

The wave profiler did run and created an AUD.INI file.  I've renamed the AUD.INI file and the profiler runs again and creates another AUD.INI file.  I disabled my logic cam and Hercules DJ Console by editing the AUD.INI ini, it did not help.  I've also edited the file by hand removing everything in the LogicTech camera and Hercules DJ Console sections.  And I installed CMCT with the DJ console unplugged and the on-board audio disabled, after rebooting.  I also tried setting Use24BitExtensible=0 to Use24BitExtensible=1.  And finally I copied the AUD.INI file over from Sonar, it did not help.

sounds like it's time to contact tech support.
