It might benefit you to list the version of Sonar your using. Is it the newest one ? 2017.3
 
EDIT: I can not reproduce a crash editing velocity's in the PRV using midi notes. I just tried it. All is good here.
I suspect possibly the midi plug in you are trying to alter.. what is it ?

My update(dez 16) is problably my last update. My support finishes at Jan 31.
 
i always work well...i stay a long time without install updates then i reinstall my entire system recently
 
I don't think that cakewalk leave me alone with a version that doesn't work. This is an inacceptable bug.
 
Sonar crashes with any plugin that i use to record midi notes. I tick the velocity bar and...'fault report' appear...its over.
