Hi, I am having the WEIRDEST issue.  I am getting what sounds like a digital overload at 6700 hz, but only on playback,  and only at that frequency, like it's a harmonic of something.  If I notch it out using a plugin, the distortion is gone, but that doesn't really solve the problem.  It's also not peaking during playback, just that frequency seems to sound like digital peaking if isolated.

Signal INTO the interface/preamp/mic is not peaking, signal INTO Sonar is not peaking, the distortion is not there in the input signal, but it is printed into the recorded signal and audible on playback, and again NOT audible on input.  Also repros in Audacity, so it's not a SONAR specific problem, but I figured I'd post it here in case anyone had ever run into it before.

Signal Chain: Fender Tele, 74 Fender Twin Reverb, SM57, Warm Audio Tone Beast, TC Electronic Impact Twin, Sonar Professional 2016, Windows 10 X64, running on an M.2 NVME SSD.  Core i7 6700k@4.7Ghz, 16GB DDR4,

Session has 3 other tracks, no plugins running, 24/48.

Things I've tried:  different cables, different mics, skipping the preamp and plugging direct into the interface, using the line input out of the tone beast and into the line input on the TC, Audacity, screaming, cursing, the usual.

Signal dependent? Aliasing of something (e.g. try your interface at 44.1KHz)?

(I had something similar happen when I had an old tube TV in a output role on a video capture card)
