Yes I paid for the updates because I believed they were pursuing this. I haven't even downloaded since my purchase waiting on OS X. Is cakewalk committed to this.

the only response from cakewalk regarding this was on the steam forums last month: http://steamcommunity.com.../1/154644928863808096/
"Still in development. Not much else right now besides that" - all mention has since been removed from the cakewalk website, so who knows?

if it is still in development (and there has been no word it's not), it will get here when it's ready, if it's not, well . . . you know the drill . . . pitch forks and torches at the ready

That's the real deal, isn't it. There has been no word, at all. They know where this place is. A simple 5 second "new" post saying "we are working on it" wouldn't hurt them, unless they aren't now. Either way I think this silence is a terrible PR move on their part.

Apparently not ALL references to OS X have been removed from the site.

Too late for me now, I posted in the other thread but it seems closed/answered now so I can't delete my duplicate post (I don't find this a very friendly piece of board software). I have spent some time over the last week looking at Reaper as I have migrated completely to Mac and at long last have ki$$ed off Windows so it is either that or Logic X for me. I have been so pleased with what I have accomplished in a short space of time (my focus is MIDI but I have exercised some AU's and VST's as well as explored the MIDI and audio routing that tomorrow I will push the button on Reaper and there will be no going back. Adios, Cakewalk and Sonar, it has been memorable!

Many folks around here use more than one DAW.  It's not always an either/or decision.  Some even use PC's and Macs.

All DAWs have features and pros/cons, so you need to assess you workflow and decide which tool you want to use for what task.
