This might be a bit off topic. But since I didn't take advantage of the Life Time Update program, my only option to get updates is by purchasing he full version of Platinum (499) again?!

If you own Platinum, and your 12 months of updates have expired, you can buy another 12 months of updates for at least 50% off the regular price of Platinum. I say "at least" because we'll try to run promotions from time-to-time to give you bigger discount opportunities.

Still a few issues
1) Audio folders make projects/Sonar Platinum still unstable.  I have to remove audio tracks from folders to make older projects work.  Support requests that I perform an fresh re-install, but reverting back to 2016.12 makes this work.  Problem started with 2017.1.
2) I have re-scan plug-ins after every update.
3) Items set to multidock no longer stay in multidock when re-opening projects.  Problem started with 2017.1.

Else all good.

That sounds good of course. Can only regret not taking the lifetime update, but I had just recently bought Platinum at that moment. I really can't come across where to purchase further updates. Is it in the shop?

Yes, you would login to your Cakewalk account and then you should see a renewal price for SONAR Platinum on shop.cakewalk.com

I have not updated since late 2016. Can someone provide more details on this statement: "Audio folders make projects/Sonar Platinum still unstable"?  All of my projects have audio stored in audio folders within the project folder. I have hundreds of projects, it would not be good if they become unstable.

Is this a known issue for multiple users, or is it unique to dubnemo?    Thanks

Hey Jim. I have all of my audio in hundreds of projects stored in folders, as I am sure many others do. I believe however that dubnemo is referring to track folders that contain audio tracks, which I too use extensively. Either way,  I have seen no evidence of either causing instability. I am sure if the problem was universal, this being such a commonly used feature,  the forum old have lit up with reports of the issue.

Thanks Bruce ... I thought probably this was not universal but I want to make sure. I approach updates carefully. I'd rather have stability than add a few new features. I just started looking at the 2017.02 update today, scanning the forum for issues.  I hate issues.
