I have a freind that has just gotten Music Creator 6 and needs a bit of help getting up and running.
Since I some what know X1 I offered to help. So I may have several questions as we go on....
I see Groove 3 has the Music Creator 6 video on sale for $10 so I downloaded it last night.

I suggested to my friend to download the Sonitus suite for $20 I think it will be a good bread and butter set of tools to get him started and his productions...

But this suite is 32 bit and he has a 64 bit (windows 8 OS) Lappy

So my question is....Does Music Creator come with Bit Bridge like X1 or will he have to invest in J-Bridge?

Thanks for any help guys

I believe MC6 is a 32bit application. No bridge software is required to run 32bit plug-ins.

Well if it is then that would be cool....it would solve a lot of issues...

I also have looked for the manual (PDF Download) to see but I have not had a lot of success there either.....For what ever reason Cake's site for me is a bit tough to search out...

Thanks for the info Scook

Sonitus works fine on my 64-bit computer and the 32-bit version of SONAR Home Studio 6.

(Not to sound like a smart a** here cause I know it does but it is not intended that way)

Sonitus works fine on my 64 bit machine as well......but I have X1 producer and that has Bit Bridge included in the bundle. I also own J-Bridge which works very well...so no complaints there either. So yes sonitus works for me as well....But,

I am just unfamiliar with Music Creator 6 and do not know if it is a 32 bit program (which would solve this sonitus concern) operating in a 64 bit environment or is it a 64 bit program. In which case, one would need a 32 birdge of some sort to operate in a 64 bit environment.....See what I am trying to get at?

so I am back to my original question.....
Is Music Creator 6 a 32 bit program or is it a 64 bit program?

thanks for the thought.

No worries, Clifford.
MC6 is 32 bit.
It was derived from X1 Essential, also 32 bit.
Except for a few simplified functions, MC6 shares the X1 interface that you are familiar with .
