Yup, I know I haven't been around lately nor have I put anything new up in a long while.  Welp, that's about to change as I've got two new ones that are nearly done.  Whoo hoo. But I have been feelin like I been lettin you folks down.
 
But not to worry.
 
I discovered a thing I did almost thirty years ago...it was originally recorded on an old 12 track Akai unit that used video tape and then was "mastered" and put on a cassette.  Then, about 15 years ago I found one of the old cassettes and burned it to CD.  And just today I found the old CD.  There was all kinds of noise and hiss and clicks and such on it.  But thanks to old Izotope RX I brought her back to life.  
 
It's my usual take on xmas.  As you might imagine.

Thanks fellers...I have to confess that's not me on the piano.  It's an incredible player and arranger named Johnny Minick...he's big in the old school gospel circles.  He was a former partner in the original business and I actually joined to replace him.  I can play...but John can PLAY!
