I would not worry about how or what you used to make the music Andy, just keep sharing it here as well as there and there.

Nice to hear some guitar from you, only listening on my cans, will give it a proper listen later on my return from my exposure to some radiation.

Thanks for having a listen Wooks! Much appreciated

Yeah, it would be nice to know what this sounds like on your Adams... Even though SPAN is telling me I have pretty much everything under control, you only know for sure when you turn it up to 11 on a decent pair of speakers. I look forward to your appraisal in this regard

cheers, and thanks again, for everything

Right up my street Andy, love it. Very nice sound/tone choices, all working well together. Quite Mike Oldfield-ish actually.

Well what can I say, there is a middle eastern vibe to this that was not so obvious on my DT100's.

Great stuff. What reverb did you use for the guitar?

Hiya James, thanks for listening to End Game, and I am pretty damn pleased that you enjoyed it

On my PRS Studio I used the bridge pickup which is PRS's own 57/08 humbucker. I'm no guitar aficionado by any stretch if the imagination but, by all accounts, they're a pretty good pickup.

I DI'd into Studio One with Guitar Rig 5 in the FX Bin and I used the Warm Universe preset, slightly tweaked, which is nicely compressed and is one of my favourite presets.

cheers

Thanks for listening again Wookiee, and I'm so glad it checks out okay on your system.

Yeah, not sure where the Middle Eastern vibe came from... It just kind of happened haha!

cheers

Thank you for listening to End Game James

Regarding the reverb, I have Guitar Rig 5 in the FX Bin of the guitar track. I use the Warm Universe preset and I tweaked it slightly, only to up the drive a little bit, without actually distorting much.

The Warm Universe preset consists of Little Reflektor that comes with G-R. I don't tweak any of the Little Reflektor settings at all.  The dry/wet setting for the initialised preset is around 100 dry/45 wet. Little Reflektor only give you eight impulse responses and I leave it set as per the init settings of XXL/B. Decay is left at 100 percent and Low Cut at 20Hz.

And that's it really... I have a couple of reverb busses in this project, one with Breverb and one with Pro-R but I don't send the guitar audio to either of them. So it's all Little Reflektor here.

Following Guitar Rig in the FX Bin I have an instance of Timeless 2 and I use a simple stereo delay with a quarter note offset on the left and eighth note offset on the right. I use this just to get a bit of "width."

Cheers, and thanks again,

I use Little Reflektor sometimes, but I prefer the big one (I just like cycling through all the presets). There's actually some good reverbs in GR, some of the other ones are pretty "cheap" sounding but in a good way, and it's exactly what you need sometimes. I think their Vintage Verb is great too.

Um ok then
(EDIT: I see the post was deleted. Just didn't want it to look like I was going nuts by saying ok then to nothing!)

I've considered getting the big one... Might still do yet, I mean... You can never have too many reverbs
