Nice one, Andy!   I really enjoyed this.  It does sort of feel like a "journey" and I like that about it.   If there was a futuristic digital desert, this might be the music for it...
 

this is a very cool tune...like eattin pudding...one spoonful and I had to finish the whole darn thing..lol I read from your posts above you mention a few times song structure (not using a standard v/c/v/)....IMHO only folks seem to care about that is the creators and not those who listen....so unless you (we) are shooting for the pop/radio market (which is more or less a thing of the past)....dont give it a second thought as I dont think anyone else will...go with what you feel.....well...thats what I tend to do anyway...
