this had me smiling out the gate...lots of attitude and emotion...I have more then a few tune in that lower vocal range and mixing them in so they can be understood can be challenging.  You did a great job on that...in fact the whole mix is very very good and well as the playing.

Wouldn't change a thing.  I love the combination of the spoken vocals with the guitar lines.

good sound(mix) really good tune!!!

Funky groove yet still rockin'.  Loved the clav and acoustic parts filling in those holes in the main riff with strings/pad pulling it all together.   Good stuff. 
 
And a nice big, open mix to boot.  Sounds really good.     I do agree with Wayfarer though - the solo should come up a little and ride on top. 
 

Loved it.  It has a great feel to it;  at first sort of like a blondie backbeat.  You could make your voice when it's in the lower range at little more expressive (maybe vibrato, or different intervals) instead of the monotone presentation.  OTOH it feels great when you enter the chorus.
