not sure if you guys understood my question...the audio signal, does it go through pc or fx bin first that is what order is the signal passing through an example would be a compressor on the fx bin and the quadcurve on the PC what which gets hit first?

it defaults to pc then fx bin, but there is a pre/post button that will make it fx bin then pc . the button is located just below the pc channel preset window at the top of the channel strip

Additionally, as was already said, you can put regular VST FX at any position between ProChannel modules by inserting an "FX Chain" module.

I began inserting an FX Chain Module in my default ProChannel layout, and this began to re-train me from using FX Bins and more to PC. It's now become workflow and I don't find myself debating where to put those VSTs ( I can relate with what the OP said..I used to hesitate on that).

Also, somewhat related....I've taken to using a simplified workspace with no inspector or browser open by default. Clean, simple..un-cluttered. When I need to see PC, hit "I" and it's there....insert whatever FX are needed. Same with the "B" browser shortcut. This goes a long way toward making me feel less assaulted by visual noise...and more creative and relaxed in navigating SONAR :)
