I Like the cleaner look, but it appears that now ALL tracks get displayed in the view?
 
A bit much? Maybe it can be handy for things. Wondering if this is the intended idea?
 
Is the idea to add your desired tracks to the filter? Must this be done every time the PRV is opened? I'm a little hazy on the concept here.
 
Anyone have some insights?

Yes, Click on the tracks you want to add to the filter. then you can either use the default filter or create a custom filter preset.

I'm getting used to it now. Good direction. A little more fine tuning will help.

Have to get used to which part of each strip to click when/how to get what I'm after so it's a little stumbley for me at the moment.

Do you find cc data on the main screen of PRV when the controller pane is closed and display selected notes is enabled? I think this is a little issue that helped keep me confused this time.

What happens if you have multiple PRV open and locked and you want to add one track to only one of those open and content locked PRV?

As far as I can tell, it is no longer possible to open multiple PRV's. If it is, I hope someone will let us know how.
 
I believe the new intended method is to switch between presets. I can live with the new paradigm as I rarely (almost never) use more than one PRV at a time. But people who frequently have multiple PRV's open are likely to be upset.

Yea ... loosing functionality is not an update or upgrade in my opinion.
It will be a deal breaker for me if this is the case and I'll never update again.
