Having some weird things going on and wanted to see if anyone has experienced the same.

The first is audio clip length - In the inspector it is being reported as +1 the actual length. So if I have a clip that is 1 measure, it reports the length as 2, etc. Anyone else seeing this?

The second is instead of snapping to the start of a new measure when cropping the end of an audio clip (as it appears it is doing), the length sometimes ends up being x:04:959 or 957 etc M:B:T(start is x:01:000). I also noticed that sometimes even if the audio clip length says it is x number of full measures, when I zoom in at the end it falls short of the end of the measure and then it often fights me when I turn snap off to try to make it even. Doesn't happen every time, but here and there I am noticing a bunch a clips that have been cropped are not the even measure lengths I expected them to be. Sometimes I can reproduce it quickly, and sometimes it takes a couple of tries. Not sure what is going on.

Thanks

Maybe you have snap to zero crossings on?

I believe Clip Length has been 'off' like that for years. You have to subtract 1 from both the measure and beat count to get the actual length.

The small snap 'errors' are likely due to having Snap to Zero Crossings enabled in snap options.

Thanks Sanderxpander and brundlefly I believe you are right. I did a reinstall recently and it appears I missed resetting at least one of my own personal preferences.

Not sure why I am just noticing that now but glad it's not just me ;)
