Hey guys...I have updated to the newest version of Splat...Now I have crashing 3 or 4 times a day on goofy simple things, like cutting a portion of a voice over and dragging it to another track...or taking a session and changing the tempo up from 120 to 125 bpms! This happened 3 times until I tried 126, and it worked.
These are small sessions, or just a track of voice over with a track of music....very frustrating. No other changes to the computer

And while I'm complaining....the midi input from my Tascam US20x20 keeps going away. I have to reboot to get it back most of the time...the error says there's not enough memory..
Any thoughts out there?
Thanks.Danny

try uncheck 64-bit double precision engine under Options.
Possibly your registry is corrupt as well.

You can also test it by rolling back if the problems disappear it might be something related to the update.
Maybe a windows update is needed as well.
Also, if you go into device manager go up to *view* and click *show hidden ports* you'll find that there are many, many ghost ports (ports that are faded).  If you get too many, it can interfere with the available memory for midi devices in SPLAT (or other versions).  Upon start up, sonar may say *not enough memory for midi peripherals* and disable them for that session
