Need Help Please!  I tried to "Freeze Synth" using Z3TA+2 and something strange occurred.  The last 8 measures of the track was doubled in places and was distorted.  I decided to mix down after unfreezing the track.  The doubling and distorting was present in the mp3 as well.  I don't have any additional plugins on that track i.e. FX and so on.   The Master Bus has Ozone 5.

I have the UVI workstation and Sonivox Twist, on separate tracks of course, and "Freeze Synth" worked as expected.  Never had this problem before.  Thanks for any help you can provide.  I have the latest version of Splat and Z3TA+2.

Have you examined the midi clip itself to see if there are overlaying (double notes on top of each other) midi notes in this section of the clip ?

Thanks, I examined the midi clip and found an Audio Fx inserted in the midi clip.  I removed it and the distortion and doubling disappeared. That fixed the problem and now the Freeze Synth worked as well. I bet I looked at that clip 100 times and never noticed that FX.  I remember inserting it but I thought I had deleted it.  Mission Accomplished!
