Hi Guys,
I've been using Sonar since version 2.2 - And it seems this problem occurs time and time again.
Spacebar is not making it play as are the functions for W (REWIND) or R
in the past it resolves itself eventually but surely there is a simple fix for this.
Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using the latest version of Platinum ?
There was an issue with keyboard shortcuts losing their bindings in the December update.

It could also be a windows update is needed. make sure you are up to date on windows and C++ lib's.

I used <SPACEBAR> and <R> just last night on the most recent Sonar.

I would check keyboard shortcut config and Lenses.

I hear ya. So was I. but it might be due to the update in January's version.
Then again the OP didn't state what version he is using (except saying its Sonar platinum).
Difficult to determine. But good advice you have offered no doubt.

Is it possible that some other software you have installed is stealing or interfering with the keystroke detection?

Like a plugin that's swallowing keystrokes?

If it's wireless keyboard:

When my batteries run down in the keyboard W R and Space are the first I notice as unless I am naming a track, I don't much use the keyboard for SONAR. Except for an occasional F and Ctrl-Z.
