Hi i'm still on the October update, because for some reason I cant renew my membership to get the newest update.
Also its a wired keyboard.
Also haven't installed any new software.

next time the issue happens take note of your surroundings. As BitFlip just mentioned, it could be a focus issue (your focus is on a plug in and keystrokes are not going to Sonar at that moment.
 
So when it happens how do you get it back ?
That's what you need to take note of. Is it a restart ? is it clicking somewhere ?
Things like that should be duly noted. But to answer your question, no its not a simple fix and not a normal thing.
There's some good replies here though that could get you going in the right direction.

Well there you have it, as I was saying previous I just opened sonar and they are working again now?
And didn't do anything.
 
Thanks for all the ideas everyone - as you said chuck I will be mindfull to any changes if it happens again.

Hi Guys,
I've been using Sonar since version 2.2 - And it seems this problem occurs time and time again.
Spacebar is not making it play as are the functions for W (REWIND) or R
in the past it resolves itself eventually but surely there is a simple fix for this.
Anyone have any ideas?
 

Are you aware that when some soft synths have the focus the keys you named don't work unless you activate a switch in the upper right of the plugin?
