It's a bit of a PITA as you are left on your own to figure out from the full version documentation what is there and what is not. The more I use HS the more I find features that are not there. Example, we all know there are many feature in Sonar like Audio Snap that open with keystrokes. I tried them all and nothing opens because it's none existent. There isn't even a Events list or a Synth Rack.
Sonars documentation is 3x more info than you need for HS. I'm fine with that being a user of both, but I can see this would be a confusing mess for a first time user trying to sort things out.
That said, I can see why it is what it is. It would take the person given the task a long time to either write from scratch or delete un-needed info to make a manual for HS. For $40 I look at it as, your on your own buddy, If you don't like it, upgrade and then you have full support. HS is still a bargain for a basic DAW and it is rock solid which is why I bought it for live performance..sorry, I just don't feel I could trust the full version for that.
