I am able to comment on posts on the bakery, but....  I still cannot vote -- or use tags.  I've tried on my phone as well as on my laptop in a regular browser.

I must be missing something obvious....

It's cruel and unusual punishment!

i went there a few times when it first opened, it's just not that friendly/welcoming or something, doesn't feel like a place that you could/would spend time hanging at, and that may well be the idea behind it, in and out, straight to the point, no messing about. can't see it being a success (aside from perhaps the bugs and issues side of things, maybe feature requests) unless of course they close this place down, but i don't think that would work out well for them, or be a good idea, and i think they know that. but . . . stranger things have happened.

Pretty much like 'Feature Requests' before it.

If you cannot vote or tag, maybe you are using a script blocker. The bakery uses some scripts hosted outside of cakewalk.com.

Personally, I don't think the bakery is a bad idea. But it should be integrated somehow into this forum. It looks like only few people go to the bakery, and most answers there are from two or three people only. Just a large nice banner on top of this forum may help to draw users who are accustomed to using this forum to have a look at the bakery from time to time as well.

A lot of the bakery's problems for me are asthetic.  I tend to do my forum browsing in studio breaks on an android tablet. From this perspective, a thread list consisting of a tiny orange font with small line spacing and huge margins on a white background = not a particularly pleasing browsing experience to say the least.

It seems to be change for its own sake, as the recording of feature requests and problem reports was not an issue for users on the old system. The 'single point of failure' if there was one appeared to be getting someone from Cakewalk to read and respond to them.

Don't feel bad......I don't even know how to get to it........

Not that I'm bothered - I saw it once when someone put a link up and it was all a bit of a mess IMO. The posts in the threads seemed to be all over the place and it wasn't easy to read at all.

Just doesn't feel like a forum community.

I couldn't vote either the last time I was on the site, about a month ago.
