No idea who out there might use one of these but it's a relatively inexpensive , 299$, interface with what I hear are excellent drivers and low round trip latency.
About every other time I would boot the computer my sound was garbled and fuzzy.
The retailer's free support were basically clue free but suggested I unplug and plug it back in which worked at least for the session, but it's a pain in the...
I contacted the manufacturer and their help desk suggested I try the new beta drivers since the firmware is the most current. For anyone else who has experienced this problem so far the beta drivers are working fine. That is all.

Audient is catching up on the software side. It must be harder than it looks.

I have the asp880 which has worked ok. Since March it has been out of my hands for almost two months as they work on getting the software to work properly.

They are not a USA based company which complicated things somewhat.

They have been patient, persistent and kind. I'm looking forward to making great recordings with it.

These issues started after a recent windows update.  when i first got the interface back in september, it worked absolutely flawlessly.  Currently, I have to power it off and on to get it recognized by windows if I've been away from my computer.

One cool thing is it's ability to work amazingly well on my laptop with MME drivers!
It performs beautifully with either ASIO or MME.  I don't understand how that's even possible.
It's a fantastic product- built like a tank, elegant, clean/warm preamp, and great performance regarding latency.
