I do not have X-Touch, but in preparation of special preset I have tested X-Touch Compact remotely. And I was surprised to find that "100mm motorized faders" have standard MIDI resolution only, 7bit (0-127). I have checked the advertisements and the description on Behringer site, and in fact I have not found any claims about the resolution, not only for Compact but also for the full version.
 
Mackie original units are using PitchBend MIDI messages for faders because they was hi resolution from the beginning. They was and are 10bit.
 
Do I miss something? Can someone confirm? If my observations are correct, that is may be the most important difference between X-Touch and original units.
