I've always liked the other-worldly bell sound on Mirage and I think I came close to emulating it.

Pale Blue Dot  refers to the image of Earth taken by the Voyager 1 space probe from a distance of about 3.7 billion miles. There's some perspective for you.

I only know KS through Tangerine Dream, not familiar with his solo work. I like this very much though. Anything inspired by the Voyager missions piques my interest, fascinating stuff.
